Wayfarer and Havukruunu will begin their tour in Helsinki on April the 10th! The tour will be the culminating event of the Easter holiday and will feature some of the newest and most interesting black metal bands!
Wayfarer is a black metal band founded in Colorado in 2012. The band, which is made up of members of acts like Blood Incantation and Stormkeep, has mixed elements of Americana and other heavy metal influences into their black metal sound. Wayfarer has toured extensively in North America and Europe in recent years and has been featured at festivals such as Roadburn, Fire in the Mountains, and Northwest & Austin Terrorfests. Wayfarer’s latest album, “A Romance with Violence,” was recorded at World Famous Studios in Colorado by Pete deBoer (Blood Incantation, Dreadnought) and was released in October 2020 through Profound Lore Records. The album received praise from media outlets such as Decibel Magazine, Metal Hammer, Revolver Magazine, The Pit, Invisible Oranges, and Metal Injection. The album also caught the attention of Century Media Records, which signed Wayfarer to a worldwide record deal in 2021.

The second headlining act of the evening will be the Finnish band Havukruunu. The band, which plays black/pagan metal in the style of Bathory and Moonsorrow, has garnered a lot of attention in Finlands music scene and abroad. In recent years, Havukruunu has shared the stage with bands such as Full of Hell, Nifelheim, and Horna while touring in support of their full-length albums “Kelle Surut Soi” and “Uinuos Syömein Sota.” The band’s latest EP, “Kuu Erkylän Yllä,” was released in 2021.
