All Out Productions proudly presents: Misery Index returns to Finland after a long wait!

Misery Index is an American band combining death metal and grindcore, formed in 2001 in Baltimore by former members of Dying Fetus. The band’s music is fast, aggressive, and technically precise, and the lyrics often deal with social injustices, politics, and the darker sides of humanity. Misery Index’s debut album Retaliate was released in 2003, but it was their second album Discordia (2006) that brought the band wider international attention. This was followed by the energetic Traitors (2008) and the even more refined Heirs to Thievery (2010), which cemented Misery Index’s reputation as an uncompromising and highly technical band. In 2011, Misery Index signed with the label Season of Mist, and their next release, The Killing Gods (2014), showcased a heavier and darker side of the band. The album Rituals of Power (2019) continued this direction with a tight and modern sound. A new chapter began with a deal with Century Media Records in 2020, and the resulting release Complete Control (2022) proves that Misery Index has retained its power and recognizable style, firmly establishing its position in the extreme metal scene through intense live performances, relentless touring, and rock-solid albums for more than two decades.

Misery Index was last seen in Finland in 2014, and after a long wait the band now returns for an intimate club show at Kult Club in the basement of Kulttuuritalo. Tickets are on sale now!
