Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Black Curse brings their unrelenting force to Finland for the very first time. Fusing the raw ferocity of death metal with the bleak atmosphere of black metal, the band delivers a sound that is primal, chaotic, and uncompromising. Their music seethes with occult intensity, punishing riffs, and ritualistic fury. Featuring members of Primitive Man, Khemmis, and Spectral Voice, Black Curse is a rare presence on stage, making each live appearance a singular event. They broke into the underground metal consciousness with their crushing 2020 debut ‘Endless Wound’, and their latest offering, ‘Burning in Celestial Poison’, produced by Arthur Rizk, pushes even deeper into the abyss with 45 minutes of pure intensity and sonic devastation.

Opening the night is Gorephilia, a rarely seen but highly revered force in Finnish death metal. Since forming in 2007, the band has channelled the darkest and heaviest elements of the American death metal golden era, blending frantic, chaotic bursts of speed with crushing mid-tempo grooves and eerie, atmospheric solos. Their sound is dense, aggressive, and unrelenting, carrying an ominous weight that few can match. Gorephilia’s most recent album, ‘In the Eye of Nothing’, was released in the fall of 2020 through Dark Descent Records and Me Saco Un Ojo Records, and it stands as a powerful testament to their vision of dark, brooding, and brutal precision.
